Questions we get every week
How often should I service my aircond?
For a JB home running the unit most nights, every three to four months for a normal service and once a year for a chemical wash. Offices and units near the coast need it more often because of dust and salt air.
What's the difference between a normal service and a chemical wash?
A normal service cleans the filters and the visible coil and checks the gas. A chemical wash takes the blower and coil out and cleans them with chemical solution, which is what clears mould and that damp smell. If your air smells but still cools, you want the wash.
Do you charge to come and look?
No. The diagnostic check is free. You get a written quote and you decide before we touch anything.
